blizzard, our decision and direction could have had disastrous and even deadly consequences. We learned some important lessons from our experience. Have a reliable map. Study your map and plan your path before you set out on a journey. Consult with a person who is knowledgeable about the area in which you are traveling, or have a reliable guide to lead you. Do not assume that a path that appears wide and easy is the best one to take. These lessons have a counterpart in finding direction in counseling.
